Will NEVER return!
Oh where to begin, first of all the staff did not speak very good english...and was not willing to work with us when we had problems. Our television only had one channel working. The internet did not work and we could not dial out on our room phone so after an hour of trying and asking for assistance we drove to a phone elsewhere. In the morning for breakfast we were sat by a waiter at a dirty table in the direct sunlight and when we asked to have the table at least cleaned off he acted like it was an inconvenience. We asked numerous times after being there for an hour or two if we could have a refund and go to another hotel and apparently the customer has no say in the quality of stay they receive at this hotel. It was an utter nightmare....do not stay here if you have any other options!! |

Nice Hotel
My wife, my Child (17) and me was living in this hotel this summer 2007 for 6 nights.
It is a four star hotel, and all in all we where satified. This is NOT a hotel for kids, it seems to be a places for business people with a lot of meeting rooms. It is places in a service areae with an autogrill where you can eat and a service station for petrol. NOTHING ELSE THERE. It is located about 20 km. from pisa, but it is wery easy to get there with trani. Just drive about 4 km to Pontedera and you can travel to Pisa in 15 minutes, and to Florenze in 50 minutes. The rooms are nice, very good bathroom, good breakfast (not wery good in italy anyway) it seems like the cook the bacon, but bread, jelly, juice and coffee, cereal and fruit. Nice staff, wery clean. We drove in our own car, and it took about 5 min. to reach Pontedera and from there hole Italy is open with the train. A beach at Torrelini was wery nice, and abot 20 km from the hotel. We ended up enjoying the hotel wery much, allthough there was no pool and nothing to see, we spend time reading and relaxing before going to the beach og travelling in the car og train. Good beds. But some suggestinons to the management. There is NOT enough closet roorm for 3 people, the rooms are big and there is space for another closet. The fitness room is more like 4 maschines running, step, cycle and som multi weight lifting. You should have a madras under the maschines because of sweat dripping on the floor, and a madras to make some floor exercises. How about some chairs and a little table outside, so one can sit and read. As i said this is not a hotel for small kids, there is simply nothing to do for them, but for grown ups who just want som peace and quietness before going to beach or city, this is a perfect place. |
