"A very pleasant hotel"
Stayed at the Accademia Palace Hotel for one night before flying back to UK.
Hotel is close to the airport, on the edge of a small retail/light industrial estate. Not much to do in immediate area. Room was plain but clean and modern with reasonable bathroom. Swimming pool was very welcome, clean and well maintained. Staff helpful and friendly.
Thought the restaurant was expensive but food was perfectly adequate.
Not too difficult to drive into Pisa. |

We stayed here for one night while trvaelling through Tuscany and we though it excellent. While it is located out of town near an industrial estate and you will need a car to gte around, the hotel itself was fantastic.
Excellent clean rooms, very friendly service, good english, good food and a nice pool for a quick dip, oh and free internet.
If visiting Pisa again, I would definitely stay here as to stay in the city centre can be very expensive. |

"A good airport hotel"
We arrived late in the evening and benefitted from the 24 hour check in facility. The bedroom was perfectly adequate if a little characterless but what one would expect from an airport hotel. The staff were good and efficient, breakfast was excellent- better than I had anticipated. A shuttle bus runs from the hotel to the town (station) and airport several times a day which enabled us to pick up our hire car the next day and avoid out of hours supplements and another day's hire. |

"A Pleasure to stay in."
I was delighted when our cab driver pulled up to the Accademia Palace hotel just outside of Pisa. The motel, completed in 2003 was a delight and far from plain as mentioned in another review. We were greeted by a very pleasant girl who spoke excellent English and went out of her way to make us feel welcome and answered all of our questions fully and even called us a cab that came right away. The motel has plenty of eye appeal inside and out and a wonderful and relaxing pool. The rooms were very modern clean and the bathrooms were equally as lavishly decorated with Italian Marble. Guests are treated to a delightful breakfast each morning with many European delights, free internet access in the lobby, and a restaurant that boasts a chef of excellent standing in the Rossini restaurant right on the premesis. I had two of my most favorite and unique pasta dishes in all my stays in Italy at the Accademia Palace. One was a hand made pasta dish with incredibly fresh mushrooms. The other, and orriechette pasta dish with wedges of Pecorino cheese adorning the dish. The motel was free of noise on the two nights we stayed with plenty of cool air provided by the room climate control. Unlike a previous review writer, we were delighted with the location away from the city center as hotels can be less fully equipt and noisy in city centers. A simple cab ride from extremely honest cabbies was our best choice to get to the Tower of Pisa in a few short minutes. This was my favorite motel that we stayed in our 21 day trip to Europe. I can't say enough fine things about it. |

"Accademia was wonderful!"
I had the good fortune to stay at the Accademia Palace Hotel in Pisa for two nights this June. It was a nice, quiet hotel, had an excellent restaurant on-site, and extremely friendly and informative service. The pool was absolutely wonderful to relax by during the day. There is one PC in the lobby with free internet access. The rooms were clean, the hotel was quiet, and while there is not much to do in the evenings in the area, you can get to the city center by cab for 10-15 Euros one way. |
